Door Off Track or Making Noise? We'll Fix It
Track repair, roller replacement, and alignment for smooth, quiet operation. Same-day service across Ohio.
About Track Repair
Garage door tracks guide your door's path, and rollers are what the door rides on. When tracks get bent or rollers wear out, you get noise, uneven movement, and eventually a door that jams or comes off the track completely. Bent tracks and worn rollers are one of the more common calls we get, and they're usually a straightforward fix.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I replace steel rollers with nylon?
If your garage is attached to your house, absolutely. Nylon rollers are dramatically quieter — you'll notice the difference immediately. They also don't need lubrication and last longer. The upgrade from steel to nylon adds a modest cost for the full set. It's one of the best small upgrades you can do.
Why did my door come off the track?
Usually one of a few reasons: a broken cable let one side drop, a roller broke and popped out of the track, something obstructed the track, or the door was forced open when locked. Sometimes tracks just get bumped by a car or hit by something in the garage. We'll figure out the root cause so it doesn't happen again.
Can I straighten a bent track myself?
Minor bends can sometimes be tapped back with a rubber mallet, but you need to be careful not to create flat spots or change the track spacing. If the door came off the track, don't try to force it back on — the springs are supporting the full weight and it can be dangerous. Better to call us for this one.
How often do rollers need replacing?
Steel rollers last about 5-7 years with regular lubrication. Nylon rollers last 10-15 years and don't need lubrication. If you're hearing grinding or your rollers look cracked or worn, it's time. We check rollers as part of our annual maintenance tune-up.
